The 2024 APM series was closed with an event called Closing APM. The event began with a presentation of the new students’ achievements throughout the entire APM series, namely the New Student Orientation (Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru (PMB)) and Psypheneous. The new students were invited to see the average score of their achievements for each competency provided by the APM committee. Of all the competencies given, the new students had not yet achieved one competency, which was Optimism. To address this, they were guided to create an action plan for what they will do after APM to fulfill all the values of optimism in their activities as students at the Faculty of Psychology, Unpad. Afterward, the new students were invited to reflect and discuss matters that became part of their evaluation during the APM period. Through these two sessions, the new students are expected to gain provisions they can use to improve themselves after APM is over. Keep up the spirit, 2024 friends!

The next series of activities was the election of the 2024 cohort leader. There was one candidate for cohort leader at that time. After he presented his vision and mission, the other new students actively listened and participated in the question-and-answer session. Finally, the new students of the 2024 cohort finally got their cohort leader. Congratulations!

After several other series of events, the new students underwent a traditional, symbolic welcoming procession to welcome them as a new part of the Faculty of Psychology, Unpad Student Family. The new students were asked to close their eyes while listening to a stirring oration from the Chairpersons of the Student Executive Board and Student Representative Body of the faculty. When they opened their eyes, they were face-to-face with more than 150 members of the Faculty of Psychology, Unpad academic fellows who gave them candles and small, warm tokens of affection. The atmosphere was filled with emotion and happiness.The Faculty of Psychology Unpad Student Family has grown even more!

The closing ceremony was concluded with the Faculty of Psychology Unpad hymn. Here, all members of the Fapsi Unpad academic community were present, including the new students. They gathered together and formed a large circle, linking their hands crosswise, and sang together. The atmosphere felt very solemn as the gentle piano melody blended with the voices of more than 300 Fapsi Unpad students. After the hymn finished, the Head and Deputy Head of the Department of Student Membership and Human Resource Development stepped into the middle of the circle and closed APM 2024.
