Grand Final of Putra and Putri Faculty of Psychology Padjadjaran University 2025

The atmosphere of the ABC hall, Building 2, Faculty of Psychology, Padjadjaran University, was filled with enthusiasm as the Grand Final of Putra and Putri Faculty of Psychology Padjadjaran University 2025 officially commenced on a Saturday Morning, June 21st 2025. This offline event, organized by the Department of Arts, Culture, and Sports from the Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Psychology, was opened with warm opening remarks from the head of the department, the president of the student executive board, and the Academic and Student Affairs Manager.

The event began with a screening of the profile videos of the five finalists presenting their vision, mission, and the background of their advocacy. The catwalk display and opening number captivated the audience before each candidate delivered an advocacy speech that raised important themes, such as literacy and awareness about menstruation, protecting the elderly through intergenerational dialogue spaces, overcoming toxic productivity, establishing a safe platform for minorities, and respecting the process of finding one’s identity.

During the Q&A session, the panel of judges, Hammad Zahid Muharram, S.Psi., M.Psi., Psikolog (one of the lecturers at the Faculty of Psychology), Amanda Erica as the 1st Runner Up of Putra and Putri Padjadjaran 2024, and Meisyandi Rafifatari as the President of the Faculty’s Student Executive Board, gave critical questions that tested their argumentation skills and depth of their reasoning. The atmosphere was tense yet inspiring as each answer combined psychological theory with real-world experiences.

The highlight of the event was enlivened by the Last Walk & Speech from Putra and Putri Faculty of Psychology Padjadjaran University 2024, Muhammad Aryan Maulana and Sharon Evangeline Tentero, who ushered in the moment of the winner announcement. In between, the music group Psytunes enlivened the atmosphere with an energetic performance, which was greeted with thunderous applause.

The announcement of the selected finalists was the climax of the event. I Kadek Raka Gunawan was crowned as Putra Faculty of Psychology Padjadjaran University 2025 thanks to the advocacy of “Trustme.ID” which provides a safe space for minorities, while Ghania Afrin Fazila won the title of Putri Faculty of Psychology Padjadjaran University 2025 with the campaign “Senandika Senja” to bring welfare for the elderly.

Not only recognizing the main winners, the committee also gave three special awards: Best Speech was won by Sabrina Nuralisa, Best Performance was won by Ayyas Ziya Ul Hakim, and Best Advocacy was awarded to Hanifah Amalia Surya. The entire event went smoothly, leaving a deep impression of the creativity and courage of Padjadjaran University’s Faculty of Psychology students to manifest through social innovation.
