The Faculty of Psychology’s Public Relation — In September 2015, world leaders adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. In the agenda there are global targets to fix various problems in society such as extreme poverty and hunger, lack of gender equality, and others.

The collaboration between Maastricht University and Universitas Padjadjaran students is a virtual practicum collaboration. Their task is to make presentations and interventions or research proposals to explain how Industrial and Organizational Psychology can contribute to improving the topics to which they choose to adapt.

This practicum will allow UM students to collaborate with students from Universitas Padjadjaran in Bandung, Indonesia. The goals of this assignment are

  1. To learn about different cultures through social and academic interactions with students from a non-European culture.
  2. To collaborate with peers in an online, culturally diverse setting.
  3. To expand knowledge of basic concepts in humanitarian work psychology and sustainable development goals and translate this understanding in the design of educational materials.
  4. To build psychological literacy by applying psychological science to a societal problem and writing a research or intervention proposal. *(KUI)
