The Anniversary of the Faculty of Psychology was closed with a “Acara Suka-Ria Penuh Rasa Syukur”. Based on interviews with Mrs. Dr. Marina Sulastiana, M.Si., Psychologist as the coordinator of the event, the word “suka-ria” or “joy” itself appears because at this celebration the lecturers and staff can gather again after a long time. The content of this activity was lunch, gathering, and also games.
As for the word “penuh rasa syukur” or “gratitude” appears for the many achievements that have been achieved by the faculty until the age of 61. The achievements of the faculty are increasing the number and quality of collaboration, research, and publications at the national and international levels. On the admissions side of new undergraduate students, the Faculty of Psychology Unpad has a high level of tightness where the number of applicants is more than the number of students accepted. On top of that, this “gratitude” is also aimed at the achievement of the Faculty of Psychology Unpad as the first psychology faculty that was born in Indonesia and became an independent faculty.
As a part of “Acara Suka-Ria Penuh Rasa Syukur”, the Anniversary of the Faculty of Psychology was also enlivened by various competitions, such as cake packaging competition and nasi kuning packaging competition. Although the time was limited, the two competitions were still running lively. Mrs. Dr. Marina Sulastiana, M.Si., Psychologist also mentioned that the participants could feel the excitement again after a long time.
At the age of 61 this year, it is hoped that the Faculty of Psychology will remain the foremost faculty in Indonesia. The Faculty of Psychology needs to continue to improve its role and usefulness so that it gets recognition at the national and international levels (TSN/RA/NAHP)*.
